QR Codes To Enhance Nissan Car Buying Experience

More evidence Nissan is one-step ahead of the game...the Japanese automaker announced, in early August, that it would be the first OEM to place QR-code stickers across its entire 2012 lineup in the U.S. In case you haven't yet heard, the EPA and Department of Transportation recently elected to require all vehicles in the U.S. to carry the stickers, starting two years from now.

Company Firsts from Nissan

Nissan, Japan's second-largest automaker, reports that it achieved a 9.7 increase in U.S. market share in March, the highest single-month growth in the company's history. What's more Nissan's March U.S. vehicle sales jumped 27 percent, marking yet another monthly record.

Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) today reported record December U.S. sales of 93,730 units versus 73,404 units a year earlier, an increase of 27.7 percent. Nissan Division sales were up 26.3 percent for the month, also a December best. Sales of Infiniti vehicles rose 37.3 percent over the prior year.
