The Future of Nissan is in the Hands of Microsoft

The future is here and there is no going back. Nissan has recently teamed with Microsoft to create a new digital showroom in dealerships that will allow drivers to explore new Nissan vehicles before they hit the showroom floor. The first model that the two companies plan to showcase with this new technology is none other than the redesigned 2013 Nissan Pathfinder, and we here at Gurley Leep Nissan are quite thrilled for what this could mean for our dealership moving forward.

Nissan will begin testing its new virtual showrooms in select dealerships across 13 states through November. Nissan will be gauging how active the public is in making use of the new devices features. And judging by its level of simplicity, it probably won't be long until the Japanese automaker opts for a nation-wide roll-out.

We believe this to be true because the virtual showroom kiosk that Nissan and Microsoft have developed makes use of some very familiar technology. In fact, if you own an Xbox 360, chances are the main platform for the hardware is sitting in your living room right now. That's because Nissan and Microsoft used the Kinect system to give the new virtual showroom kiosk simple motion controls that anyone can use.

Still not sold on new technology and would rather explore your next Nissan the old-fashioned way? You're not alone. That's why Gurley Leep Nissan invites you to test drive the new 2012 - 2013 Nissan you're interested in at 5210 N Grape Road  Mishawaka, IN 46545 today.
